Crawling – Early Walkers
Explore the world of early motor skill development and support social, visual, and auditory development through ramps, rocker balls, parachute play, music, and more. Please note: Inchworm classes are always drop in enrollments. They are not tuition based classes. Therefore, Trial classes are not offered.
Toddlers Walking – 2 ½ years
Parent/caregiver participation is required as this class is designed to incorporate the beginning fundamentals for physical fitness and motor skill development. Children have fun and build confidence. See below for Caterpillar class guidelines for additional information.
Toddlers 2 ½ – 3 ½ years
Parent / caregiver participation is required as children continue to explore movement and independence in our gym. Classes are designed to encourage participation through a semi-structured environment with a consistent class routine where children begin to acquire listening and social skills.
Preschoolers 3 – 4 years
Preschoolers begin to participate in specialized activities that are geared toward building strength, flexibility, and individual apparatus skills in gymnastics. Students develop emotional independence and self-esteem through movement.
Preschoolers 4 – 6 yrs (beginner)
This exciting class combines strength, flexibility, and upper body development with coordination and agility. Children learn how to deal with the physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects of childhood in a playful, creative, and stimulating environment.
Children 5 – 7 years (beginner-intermediate)
This class is designed for the young child to develop confidence and master basic skills in beam, bars, tumbling, and trampoline. We work on skills that develop strength, coordination, and flexibility – all while having fun!
Children 5 – 8 years (intermediate)
Fireflies classes build a strong foundation for your child to develop a sense of athletic achievement, self-esteem, and social skills that will last a lifetime. In this class there is a stronger focus on form as well as growth in furthering skill development.
Children 5 – 8 years (advanced)
This class is an invitational class based on the child’s skill level. We work on Levels 1-3 which give students a solid foundation in gymnastics to build on for more difficult skill.
Please Note: If minimum enrollment of 4 students in class is not met we may make scheduling changes requiring reassignment of your child to another class.
Caterpillars Walking Toddlers — 2 1/2 yrs
Roly Polys 2 1/2 yrs — 3 1/2yrs
Our 45 minute classes include free play time, circle time with songs and activities, fun age-appropriate obstacle course, ball play, parachute games, and more!
Parent (or caregiver) participation is required.
This class is an opportunity for you to share the fun of exploring and discovering your child’s unique abilities at each age and developmental stage. Our classes are designed to teach the earliest fundamentals of physical fitness and motor skills development. In addition we provide opportunities to explore the many social and behavioral skills (for example: taking turns and waiting in line) that are essential building blocks to your child’s success in school and in life. We encourage children to explore, to observe, to try new things, and most of all, to build confidence simply by having fun.
We will be offering our Sensory Play Open Gym for children (ages 4-9 yrs old) with developmental differences and their parents on Fridays from 2:15-3:15 pm starting in September 2025. Registration through your iClass Pro account will be available soon.
Cost will be $16 for the hour per child and preregistration is required through your iClass Pro account. In order to best serve and support both parent and child, please provide the following information via your enrollment comments:

Nia Smith is a preschool events manager, coach, and child behavioral specialist. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology and human development from CSUMB. Nia is currently pursuing a masters degree towards certification as a Child Play Therapist. She has been with us at Junebugs Gym for several years as a coach and party coordinator. She is looking forward to working with families as our Sensory Play Coach.
